What did I say about blogging more frequently? Well, here I am again.

Arthritis Research UK is running a campaign to get general election candidates to become Arthritis Champions. Apparently 1 in 4 local councils make no mention of arthritis in their health assessments, which surprises me given that it’s a condition that affects 10 million people in the UK.

Arthritis Research’s manifesto is to prevent, transform, and cure – which is hard to do when the people in power seem to be making no effort toward this. Not one of the parliamentary candidates in my constituency – that’s Sheffield Central, by the way – (with an email address that ARUK has, at least) is an Arthritis Champion, so I have emailed them all. And the good news is, you can (and should) too.

Oversights like this won’t happen when I’m Prime Minister, you know.

Make a stand in your constituency.
